STAGE 4 & 5- Years 7

The Religious Education Programme is organised into eight areas of study: God, Jesus Scripture, Prayer, Christian Life, Sacraments, Church and Religion and Society.
The Programme integrates values, attitudes, knowledge and skills across each area of study thereby promoting a holistic and integrated student approach to learning.
Religious Education is also a partnership of home, parish and school. All those involved are partners in faith, hope and love. The College also recognises that parents are the first and foremost educators of their children.
Students will receive a grade on their School Certificate after their satisfactory completion of the Year 10 course.
STAGE 6 – Years 11 and 12
Studies Of Religion I & II
Studies of Religion I & II promotes an awareness, understanding and application of the nature of religion and the influence of religious traditions, beliefs and practices on individuals and society, with an emphasis on the Australian context.
It focuses on Religion and Non-Religion, and an in depth study of Christianity and Judaism. In addition Studies of Religion II also focuses on Islam and Religion and Peace.
Sharing Our Story
Sharing Our Story is a faith based course specific to Catholicism and the interaction of Catholicism with other traditions and social trends. It is also an interaction with indigenous people, with a specific emphasis on Sacred Texts and Jesus Christ in history, wisdom and ministry. It focuses on Social Justice and Liturgy and Prayer in accordance with the Parramatta Diocese Sharing our Story Program.
